GET SWOLE WITH SWOLE AF

The Path to Greatness

To get swole is no easy task, nor is it for the faint of heart.  If you’ve ever worked toward obtaining a perfect, herculean body, you know this undertaking requires dedication, motivation, and accountability.  While the journey toward defined muscle may feel like one of the labors of Hercules himself, it’s far from insurmountable.  So where do you start?  Pre-workout powders and protein supplements are wonderful aides for anyone wishing to get swole, but those tools won’t do much good without a cohesive workout routine.  To start, you’ll need a schedule to keep you on track and the determination to stick to it.

The Upper & Lower Split Routine

One of the most proven and popular training routines is a split.  The goal is to stretch your workout over the week and alternate between upper body and lower body muscle groups.  This gives your muscles a chance to repair themselves while allowing you to power through your week with regular muscle building exercises.  Sounds great, but how does a split routine work?  There are a few ways this can be achieved so let’s look at an example.
Monday:  Upper Body Workout ATuesday:  Lower Body Workout AWednesday:  Rest DayThursday:  Upper Body Workout BFriday:  Lower Body Workout BSaturday:  Rest DaySunday:  Rest Day

In this schedule you can see each muscle group is getting trained once every 3rd or 4th day.  This is the ideal frequency to efficiently build muscle mass at the fastest rate possible.  Keep in mind your schedule does not need to match the one above.  As long as you rotate through muscle groups and maintain two days of exercise followed by one day of rest, you should achieve your goal of swole.

If you’re going to follow the upper and lower split schedule then your muscle building routine should mirror that.  You’ll be left with two different kinds of workout, one geared toward your upper body, and the other for your lower body.  For example, your upper body workout will focus on your pecs, lats, biceps, and so forth, while the lower body workout will focus on quads, hamstrings, and calves etc.

Are You Ready?

Now that you have a plan of attack for your voyage into the realm of muscular excellence you’ll need a supplement to work in tandem with your body.  Micronized Creatine is a great companion to any workout.  This workout powder is chock full Creatine Monohydrate, a compound credited with raising ATP.  It’s crucial to building muscle as this high-energy molecule provides energy for muscle contractions, supports muscle building, and reduces muscle breakdown.  And if you want to kick it up a notch, Hulk AF adds in a mixture of taurine, beet powder, and sodium to replenish your body’s natural stores when they start to run low.

So what are you waiting for?  Seize the day, plan your workout routine and start your voyage to get Swole!
